Situated in a great area, the house is within walking distance of Brickyard and Millcreek Commons, stores, and has easy freeway access. There is a bus stop right in front of the house. It’s also conveniently located near the mountains, Sugarhouse, downtown, and fitness centers like Momentum, The Front, and Vasa.
The house itself is enormous - 4,400 square feet of space with six bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. There is plenty of cabinet space, with a big pantry room and three full-size fridges split between the 6 of us, so you only share a fridge with one other housemate. There’s a deck off the kitchen, a huge backyard with fruit trees perfect for pies, and a summer garden (fresh ripe homegrown tomatoes included in rent!). You’ll also have your own dedicated off-street parking spot. For shared spaces, we’ve got a comfortable living room, a projector with a 120" screen for movie nights, a laundry room, and plenty of storage. Utilities are $95 per month and cover all the normal stuff, plus fiber internet, streaming services, and essentials like toilet paper, laundry detergent, and cleaning supplies.
We’re a friendly group of outdoorsy individuals in our 20s and 30s who enjoy spending time together. Whether it’s a house dinner, board games, movie nights, or casual BBQs, we love making the house a warm environment. We also celebrate holidays like the Fourth of July, Pie and Beer Day, and Thanksgiving, but we're not into throwing any wild parties or ragers. We're all generally outdoorsy and like to get out skiing/snowboarding, climbing, biking, trail running, or playing volleyball or ultimate frisbee, and we’d love to find a roommate who might enjoy joining in on one or more of those activities.
We’re looking for someone who will be a good fit for the house’s social atmosphere. While everyone values their privacy, and the house has plenty of space to enjoy alone time when you need it, we hope to find a roommate who enjoys being part of a friendly and active household. Ideally, you’re employed, financially responsible, drama-free, and generally a positive person. No smoking inside and, unfortunately, no furry friends.
The lease starts with a 12-month lease that auto-converts to a month-to-month lease afterward. We might consider a 6 month lease.
