Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Certified Arborist who is a confident production climber and grapple saw operator. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who values safety, teamwork, and professional standards while delivering efficient, high-quality tree work.
Responsibilities
• Perform technical tree pruning and removals in accordance with ANSI Z133 & A300 standards
• Execute safe and efficient climbing operations (SRT/DRT)
• Operate Grapplesaw and assist with Knuckleboom removals.
• Assess tree health, risk, and work scope as a Certified Arborist
• Communicate clearly with crew members, crane operators, and management
• Maintain jobsite safety, clean work practices, and professional customer interaction
• Assist with ground operations as needed
• Perform basic equipment inspections and care
Required Qualifications
• ISA Certified Arborist, NCCER Certified Crane
• 3+ years professional tree climbing experience
• Strong knowledge of rigging techniques and safe work practices
• Ability to work at height and in physically demanding conditions
• Valid driver’s license plus CDL endorsement
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
Preferred Qualifications
• 2 + Years Grapple saw experience with NNCER
• Certified Arborist ISA
• ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ)
• First Aid / CPR certified
• Leadership or crew lead experience
• CRM Knowledge

Pay Range
• $30–$45/hour depending on Certifications and Time on Job
• Higher rates available for experienced grapple saw operators and senior arborists
