Sunny, clean, cozy furnished cottage with a private entrance in the backyard of my home, with a garden view and its own small patio. The space is small but efficient (about 250 square feet - considered a micro-studio) and is stocked with everything you need to be comfortable.
The studio has a full-size sofa bed (convertible), small desk, bathroom with shower, kitchenette, extra large closet with dresser, and heater/AC unit. The kitchen has a small fridge, electric teakettle, coffeemaker, microwave oven, toaster oven, and single electric stove burner. It is well equipped with dishes, glasses and mugs, silverware, pots and pans, coffeemaker, a small blender, etc.
The cottage looks out into the shared back yard and garden. It has its own little private patio with a small table and chairs so you can enjoy outdoor dining when the weather is nice.
About the neighborhood: Liberty Wells is a fabulous, eclectic early 20th century neighborhood that is close to downtown Salt Lake City and the Sugarhouse area. There's a really great coffee shop called Alchemy about 3 blocks away. Liberty Park, the largest park in the central city area, is about a 10-15 minute walk away. While the immediate neighborhood is residential, there are a number of good restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk from here. Laundromat 3 blocks away.
Easy and unrestricted street parking - usually you can park right in front of the house.
Sorry, no off-street parking available.
No pets, please (no exceptions).
No smoking (indoors or outdoors).
Available March 29. I'm looking for a tenant to start renting in late March or early April and to stay for at least 3 months. For the right tenant, a longer-term or ongoing lease could be an option!
Rent is $1,095 per month including utilities (Google Fiber wi-fi, electric and water).
Security deposit of $1000 required - fully refundable if nothing is damaged, broken, or missing.
This is a great short-term living situation for someone who is doing seasonal work in the Salt Lake area, or who is just moving to town and wants to get to know the city and take a little time looking for permanent housing.
In your reply please tell me a little bit about yourself and what you're looking for, your current situation, etc.
** Please also let me know in your reply what specific dates you would be looking to rent!! **
