Wearing my Heart on my sleeve here. 33/army veteran (Salt Lake City)

cats are OK - purrr
dogs are OK - wooof

Just arrived in Ogden Utah yesterday. Army Veteran, my MOS was a Diesel Mechanic, honorable discharge in 2006 with my DD214 form. Im Gonna wear my heart on my sleeve here, so please be kind when responding...
Arrived in Ogden Thurs night, Im starting over. I left a bad situation. I moved in with my girlfriend of 1.5years in Vancouver Canada, of which things went South for her once she her father passed away, long story short she started drinking a lot which led to her drug use. I stayed by her for months trying to help and be her (light). Unfortunately I realized there is NO having any sort of reasonable conversation with a person like that. I know you cant help people until they're ready to change, but when love is involved that's very hard to accept myself. I could no longer afford to support us both, especially with her always stealing money from me and having to replace numerous debit cards she conveniently had no idea what happened to them. I was going under financially & had to make a choice. I've came to Ogden many years to ski, and always enjoy Salt Lake & Ogden and choose to come here.
I am In search of room for rent at least temporarily (several weeks) to have a place to be able to sleep, store my bags, shower, and hit the city looking for work. I have a good amount of money with me however im starting to go though it with bus passes, having to buy expensive food for each meal rather than being able to grocery shop and use a fridge and stove. I really want to use my money for a safe, warm place to give me a home base. I have a solid resume which is why I'm very confident. I have worked at many ski resort over the years, i have my class "D" security license, and im a certified mountain rescue/guide as well. I stayed at a place called the RESCUE MISSION in Ogden my 1st night and that was absolutely a HORRIBLE experience, unsafe, dirty, loud, no structure or system in place to help. I have many electronics with me, laptop, 2 iphones, hard drives, portable charges, the list goes on. I would rather sleep outside then stay at the rescue mission again. In fact, i brought some of my Survival Gear for mountain rescue and I plan on staying outside tonight. Really hoping this ad reaches someone with a heart. Please contact me via my cell show contact info call or text.

Thank you!
