Liberty Park / Liberty Wells area.
Overall the house is in decent condition considering it is over 100 years old. Thankfully has never really had any major "updating" so it has that great, original, Victorian farmhouse vibe. This house was built before "indoor" plumbing so it was added later... probably around the 1910s or 1920s. Was 100% original until recently when I had a couple 100 yr old galvanized pipes rust through and start to leak (in the basement thankfully... so I replaced virtually all of the old galvanized pipes with pex. Wiring is a mix of old and older. But the panel is definitely newer than turn of the century. (Probably 1950's to 1960s from the look of it.)
Foundation has a little lean in it... but it's on a shelf basement so there is access underneath. So, that's the only major "issue" at the moment; house is out of level in some places.
Could also use a new roof on the main house--though there are no current / known leaks. (I replaced the roof on the back addition a few years back after a small leak developed; took it down to the rafters (removed 9 layers of old shingles--which was a bear to do!--and started back with new decking, new flashing, etc).
A lot of the value is in the land. There are very few larger lots like this left anywhere in town. And they don't come up for sale very often. Excellent for serious gardeners or homesteaders looking to get some chickens and dig in the dirt and lead a simple life in a complicated world. Or someone with a lot of toys that they need extra room for.
House is 100% livable as is. But could be a great restoration project as well.
