(PRICE DROP, and can buy separately) Option 1: the dolly and bag, without the other items ($179) or Option 2: the tripod, the fluid head, the half ball, the padded bag, without the dolly and its bag ($299) or Option 3: all of the above (the whole rig) for a discount ($459).
All parts of this pro-grade video support rig were bought new, except for the dolly (like-new) after LOTS of online research. It all works perfectly. This is not surprising because I only used this rig on one brief project a long time ago, and never rented or lent it to anyone. Everything looks brand new, only the dolly shows a little wear. Anyway, soon after that project, I went in a whole different working direction, so I stored it all at my parents’ house near St George, Utah, which is a good place to store things in that dry high-desert climate. I recently brought it all here to Herriman in Salt Lake county (where I live now) to sell.
Below are the details about the 4 main products and the 2 bags. Everything was made in Italy, except the bags.
- Manfrotto 525MVB pro video tripod, with a 75mm bowl, 2-stage (3-section) high-tensile (strong, stable) aluminum-alloy legs, rapid setup via fast-action locks, and up to a 13.2 lbs (6kg) load capacity. Has twin-spiked feet, and includes a floor-level adjustable spreader. Height range: 12.5" (32 cm) to 61.5" (156 cm). Weighs 7.5 lbs.
- Manfrotto 503 (3460) Pro Video FLUID Head, with the handle and the sliding quick-release plate it came with. Features a 3-step or continuous counterbalance system, precise independent fluid drag controls for smooth pan and tilt movements. Has side-mounted controls for pan/tilt lock and drag, and a bubble level.
- Manfrotto BOG3284: 75mm Half Ball, connects the head to the tripod, and allows quick leveling of the head without adjusting the tripod manually. It has the longer locking handle. I much prefer this hand-width handle instead of the short one, when reaching under to level the head (easier and quicker) or to hold to help smoothly move around when using the dolly.
- Manfrotto 181 (Bogen 3156) Automatic Dolly. A heavy-duty aluminum, foldable dolly for studio or location use. Features 3-inch diameter wheels with a single-lever (foot pedal) central braking system that locks or unlocks all three wheels simultaneously (lifts the wheels, allowing the dolly to rest on its three feet for maximum stability) You’ll love it! This one-action control is why it’s called an “automatic” dolly… you don’t have to manually lock or unlock each wheel individually like on some simpler dollies. Also has a 3/8" attachment on the center spider, allowing a head to be mounted directly for very low-angle shots. The dolly allows for quick and easy movement of the whole rig.
- Manfrotto MBAG90P Padded Bag (90 cm) sized to fit the assembled tripod / half ball / head. A very nice protective bag.
- Duffle bag (dark gray) with padded bottom, for the dolly.
I still even have the Manfrotto packaging/boxes that the Fluid Head and the Half Ball came in, if you want them.
Send me a message if you have a question, or to arrange a time when we can meet at a public place of your choosing (not far from Herriman hopefully) so you can inspect this equipment. No pressure or obligation to buy. I'm selling simply because it's pointless for me to keep hanging on to these stellar items without using them. I also have a few other listings... truly top-quality, like-new A/V gear, so please take a look. If you buy more than one listing, you'll get an extra discount.
