Meet Hammy! He is an Australian shepherd/pitbull mix. He will be 5 years old on 10/20, he is neutered, and is the sweetest boy! It absolutely breaks my heart to have to rehome him, but due to a move and our living situation, we can't bring him with. He has been our family dog since the day he was born, and I thought he always would be, but we don't have a choice. He is very sweet, easy going, and not overly energetic. He has been around our 4 kids (the oldest is 5) his whole life. He is great with the older kids (ages 4 and 5), and tolerates toddlers, but would do better if he could live in a home without toddlers. We have always had other dogs too, and haven't had issues. He is not good with cats or small animals (goats, chickens, etc.), but does fine around large livestock (horses and cows). He is very good for the groomer and does well in the car. He is generally quite docile, loves a good belly rub, and also loves to go for walks and likes to meet new people. This dog means a lot to our family and we won't let him go to just anyone.
