We are looking for an full-cycle Recruiter for a Temp or Direct Hire role based in the Salt Lake City area.
This position is responsible for hiring qualified employees who reflect the diversity of the community, and support the values and goals of the company. The person in this role oversees the hiring process including identifying the ideal candidate, sourcing, recruitment, application & resume screening, phone interviewing, background and reference checking, pre-employment assessment and recommending candidates for hire.
Primary Function and Duties
Partner with HR Generalists and hiring managers in all phases of the employment process from creating the requisition to selection of a candidate for hire. Responsible for filling non-exempt, technical, professional, and supervisory positions.
Work with hiring managers to assess needs and develop creative sourcing and recruiting plans that will attract desired candidates. Identify leading recruiting sources of talent for niche and hard-to-fill positions. Provide best practices and counsel hiring managers on compliance with employment laws and selection of qualified applicants.
Conduct resume and application screening activities. Develop and conduct effective telephone interviews. Use behavior based interviewing techniques to determine knowledge, skills, and attributes of candidates. Refer candidates most closely meeting job requirements to hiring managers and assist in coordinating further interviewing. Continue to oversee the hiring process through candidate selection and pre-employment background checking and assessment.
Keep confidential, organized and accurate files that include interview notes, and background check information. Share appropriate results with hiring managers and applicants.
