The long-term thermal R-value (15 year avg.) of new Polyiso rigid foam insulation is reported to range from 5.7 to 5.9 per inch of thickness. Seconds are typically generated due to blemishes in the product such as paper creases, misaligned facers and blow holes (small air pockets in the insulation). Insulation Depot does not warranty R-value.
