These would be ideal for hand spinners, small homesteaders, or 4-H projects.
Raised on grass and hay as naturally as possible. Our flock is small and we spend time with all of our sheep.
CVM sheep (California Variegated Mutants) are unique to the United States and are considered endangered according to the Livestock Conservancy. Their wool is very fine and often has natural variations in color.
None of my sheep for sale are registered, but some of them do come from registered stock and I could look into the registration process.
The ones that are pure-bred are for sure pure, and the ones that are crossed are crossed with other fiber breeds. The badger-face markings are prominent in almost all of my lambs. I have three CVM-Rambouillet crossed lambs that are pure white. All of my bucks are CVMs.
$200 for crosses, $250 for purebred. A discount if you travel far and buy multiple sheep.
