The KT142C is a SOP16 voice chip with serial interface, featuring hardware MP3 decoding and built-in 320KByte memory. It supports:
Maximum 320-second audio duration
Multi-segment MP3 format playback
Direct drive for 0.5W speaker (no external amplifier required)
Configurable DAC output
Important Notice:
This solution does not support external SPI flash. For SPI flash requirements, please refer to the KT142A solution.
Key Features:
1.Software supports UART communication protocol (default baud rate: 9600) with 4 GPIO pins for one-to-one playback triggering
2.Requires no programmer or additional software - connects to PC as virtual U-disk for file management (copy/delete).
3.Ultra-wide power supply range (2.6V-5.2V). Operates with just two external 105 capacitors (extremely simple design).
Can be configured for DAC output with external amplifier (HAA2018 recommended)

2.24-bit DAC output with 90dB dynamic range and 85dB SNR. The chip allows flexible switching between DAC output and PWM direct speaker drive.
3.Built-in 320-second voice storage supports direct PC file transfer without format conversion.
4.Update voice files via USB without installing any software. Compatible with XP, Win7, Win10, etc.
5.Supports combined playback (e.g. time/temperature announcements), partially replacing costly TTS solutions.
6.Compatible with external amplifiers (e.g. 3W/5W/10W), also supports built-in 0.5W PWM direct drives speaker.
7.Custom function development supported with high flexibility.
