Helping a friend clear out their late partner's shed, and we discovered this bicycle!
Doing a bit of research places these bikes from the late 1930s-1960s. I could not pin down this particular model or year with the single strut yet double-bar in the main part of the frame.
Whitewall tires in excellent condition, tires seem to be holding air. Presta valve tubes.
The seat is definitely worn out, but covered with a gel seat. Easily replace the seat top with a similar vintage spring seat.
It needs a tune-up and shows its age, but is an amazing item that's just needs a little love from someone who knows more about bikes than I do! (ex., spokes could be adjusted to get tires straighter).
Comes with the basket, working bell, and front rack.
Sticker on front post:
"AMF Cycle Division
American Machine & ___?___
Little Rock, ___?___
Seems to be ~26” tires (around 25.5”)
