Theses light fixtures come with a ten foot plug/cord. The switch is on the base of the unit. The metal mounting bracket also serves as a heat shield so the light can be close mounted on wood. I have about a dozen of these. You can see them at Distinctive Creations, 2601 So. Constitution Blvd. (2700 W) anytime Monday thru Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Just come in and ask for Grant.
