General Description<br>
We are seeking a learning and development professional with approximately 3-5 years of training or organizational development experience specifically in instructional design and training facilitation. This person should be self-motivated and able to take direction in the form of objectives to quickly capture business knowledge and transform it into a clear training program for a variety of audiences and skill levels.<br>
<br>
Minimum Qualifications <br>
•	Develops terminal and enabling training objectives to meet business needs and identify specific behaviors necessary for training success. <br>
•	Uses a deep understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methods to work with subject matter experts and develop a training plan to meet specified objectives. <br>
•	Responsible for developing, delivering and assessing success of learning programs in the areas of technical skills, customer service, sales, and processing. <br>
•	Spends 50% or less of time developing and designing training materials/curriculum and 50% or more of the time facilitating training. <br>
•	Familiar with Microsoft Office and Visio. <br>
•	Consults with human resource staff and managers to identify developmental needs, develops standard learning programs to meet identified needs and compiles evidence of performance improvement. <br>
•	Exercises judgment within company policy, practices, precedents and procedures to determine appropriate course of action. <br>
•	Has a strong understanding of business processes and an ability to quickly translate a business process to a training program. <br>
•	Interacts with all levels of staff and management in a diverse environment.<br>

Preferred Skills<br>
•	Finance or banking background <br>
•	Technical writing experience <br>
•	Familiar with Enterprise Architecture or Business Process Modeling Notation <br>

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE<br>
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or other related field required, plus 5-8 years of experience.  Working knowledge of HRIS software and Microsoft Office strongly desired.  Must be able to produce high-quality results in a high-pressure and dynamic environment.  Flexibility with schedule to accommodate long work hours and international time zones is required.  Strong written and verbal communications skills. <br>

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Benefits Administrator position is responsible for administering the day-to-day operations of all group benefit processes  Provide excellent customer service and quality benefit plans. This position reports to the Human Resources Director.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:

Administration of day to day benefits processes
<br>
•	Input all benefits eligible enrollment into HRIS and ADP system
<br>
•	Audit all monthly enrollment and terminations on all benefit plans
<br>
•	Assist in managing open enrollment and benefit plan renewal process. 
<br>
•	Serve as primary contact for Avalon employees, plan vendors and third party administrators. Work effectively to make sure the plans run smoothly. Investigate discrepancies and provide information in routine situations.
<br>
•	Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
<br>
•	Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations. 
<br>
•	Assure timeliness and accuracy of weekly payroll and HRIS system 
<br>
•	Enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, distributions, hardships, compliance testing. 
<br>
•	Maintain employee benefits files and update of employee payroll records. 
<br>
•	Gather employee data and process monthly billings and prepare vouchers for payment of administrative fees and premiums for all group plans. 
<br>
•	Develop and maintain online benefits forms. (Benefits enrollment, HR status change form, HR action form, 401k etc.).
<br>
Customer Service, Communication, Training 
<br>
•	Provide customer service support to internal and external customers.
<br>
•	Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company’s benefits package. 
<br>
•	Design and distribute materials for benefit orientations, open enrollment and summary plan descriptions. 
<br>
•	Create and conduct presentations using audiovisual tools including power point and videos. 
<br>
•	Knowledge of company policies and procedures. 
<br>

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 
<br>
•	Bachelor's degree and three to five years related benefits or employee benefit administration experience required. 
<br>
•	Excellent communication and organization skills are required. 
<br>
•	Project and team management/leadership skills and experience. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates. Capability of effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.

•	Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs.

•	Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Kronos, ADP are preferred.
