We are currently in the process of bidding on a contract with Hill Air Force Base. If awarded, we will need a Assistant Program Manager to work along with our PM to achieve project control and contract administration necessary to manage a high volume, multiple task processes for a large, diversified team so that the schedule and quality requirements are tracked, communicated to the government, and ultimately attained. The APM shall assist in providing real-time monitoring of status/deliverables, tracking the quality of work products and gauging overall customer satisfaction to ensure the successful performance of the Air Force Material Command (AFMC), Ogden Air Logistics Center (OO-ALC), Information Technology Directorate (IT), Network and Desktop Support Services.

Required Skills: At least 5 years of experience managing Air Force contracts. Assists with the adherence to master plans and schedules; development of solutions to program problems, and direction of work of incumbents assigned to program from various partners. Assists with monitoring of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. Reports to a PM. Successfully interface with government and contractor personnel. Assists the PM to ensure conformance to work standards and interpret organizational policies, purposes and goals for subordinates. Maintain exceptional customer relations.

Education: A BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, Logistics, or related scientific/technical discipline is required. Must have at least 5 years of progressive experience in managing Air Force contracts.

Clearance Required: Secret
