This is a complete set (42 audio CDs, 84 30-minute lectures) of Professor Arnold Weinstein's inspiring "Cliff Notes" version of a number of classic American novels that you may never get time to read but can learn about, as I did, while driving to work in your car. I've held on to these for several years, thinking I'd like to listen to them again, but now I have a much shorter commute! When I bought the set I remember that it was over $300, and now it's $540 new. Ouch! I'd like to find someone who would really enjoy these rather than just "throwing them away" at a thrift shop. Dr. Weinstein's lectures are clever, insightful, and just plain ingenious. Study guides are included that resemble the Cliff Notes books.
